Headspace
Headspace is an app used mainly for short\long meditations.
After selecting the mobile app, the first thing to do was map a hierarchy of the main screens and features that exist in the app. The map’s essence was designed as a version for a TV app.
Research
The research included the Google TV interface, remote usage, and reviewing various apps on this platform. Later on, there was visual language research of the original app and various references of TV interfaces.

We thought of an interaction that uses a remote control and tried to understand how to translate the heart of the interaction into something that works great on TV

Next, the UX part! Wireframes were created for the 4 main screens that together make one central user flow: Meditation page, Courses and Singles, Basics Course page, and Session.
Later, all the screens were designed by expanding the visual language of the app, while keeping in touch with the mobile app. The design was upgraded several times until it ripen to the final design.
Finally, a prototype was created in Figma in order to present the application in the closest way to our design.
Since this was our first time designing for a TV screen, we had to understand how to produce a readable interface from a reasonable distance, and along the way, we tested the UI&UX on the destination screen to make sure everything works as planned
Thank you!
